Kyla Janine Ellis is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sinatra and Katryna Kinn of Mobile, AL and Dr. Rodney Ellis of Shreveport, Louisiana.  She is an Advanced Honors graduate of Baker High School where she was an Advanced Placement student.  At Baker, she was a member of Peer Helpers, FCCLA, FBLA, Junior Civitan, Student Council, and the Mobile County Public School System’s Superintendent’s Advisory Council.  Kyla received an academic letter and a medallion her junior and senior years for her 3.9 GPA.  She was inducted in the National Technical Honor Society and she is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. Kyla will attend Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in the Fall of 2018 majoring in Chemistry/Pre-Pharmacy. Kyla’s favorite scripture is:  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.—Philippians 4:13

Branden Jevon Burks is the son of Fred and Motricia Burks. He is the grandson of the late Fred Senior and Barbara Burks, Robert and Lillian Johnson. He is an accomplished two-sport athlete and graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. For the Yellow Jackets, he was a starting outfielder on the baseball team and a starting wide receiver on the football team.As a future Pharmacist and top-level athlete, Branden accredits his success to the long hours of hard work, late night studying, project assistance, essay writing sessions, homework help, tutoring, and baseball training given to him by his parents. Thanks to the recruiting of Coach Jamie Shouppe, Branden will also be suiting up to play baseball for the Rattlers this Spring as an Outfielder. He is also a beloved member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where Earnest Scott is his pastor
